Atlases

Atlases include a collection of maps to illustrate the geographical features and historical movements of a particular period.  Some atlases are chiefly maps while others are accompanied by archaeological artifacts, descriptive texts, and special features to provide a visual overview of biblical places and events.

Includes maps covering  both the Old and New Testament periods. This work also illustrates the spread of Christianity in the early church through modern times. Brief explanatory text is included for each map.

This work is divided into twenty-four chapters that cover biblical history from Genesis through the Age of the Apocalypse.  Each brief chapter covers five points: the biblical context, historical setting, archaeology, selected social issues related to the chapter and a reflection.
