Antiphon: a Journal for Liturgical Renewal
A new journal founded in 1996 and published by the Society of Catholic Liturgy. Appearing three times per year, its focus is the renewal of the liturgy in the spirit of Vatican II with an emphasis on a wide range of topics including sacramental theology, art, architecture, and sacred music. This journal has quickly become an important resource for all who are interested in Catholic liturgy.
Catechumenate: a Journal of Christian Initiation
A resource of the Archdiocese of Chicago published six times per year by the LTP, this journal focuses on practical topics and questions concerning the RCIA.
Ecclesia Orans
A serious scholarly liturgical journal found in 1984 and published by the Pontifical Liturgical Institute headquartered at the Anselmo in Rome. International in scope, this journal publishes articles in the major European languages pertaining to the liturgical life of the Church. Recently the book review section has been expanded.
E & A: Environment and Art Letter
A bimonthly newsletter from LTP focused on art, architecture, and the environment of worship. Each issue contains 1 or 2 major articles with numerous short brief items about renovations, design, artists, craftspeople, etc. Focus is on the practical and is heavily illustrated with photos. Publication has ceased.
Ephemerides Liturgicae
A major international journal founded in 1887 and published in Rome. Includes articles in the major European languages on all aspects of liturgy.
Faith and Form
The professional journal of the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture which appears 3 times per year. Focus is on art, architecture and related subjects. The annual awards issue features new buildings, renovations, project designs, and artworks that have received awards.
GIA Quarterly
Publication of the liturgical publisher GIA, with a focus on music and practical aspects of liturgical planning. Each issue contains 4-5 major articles with additional short notices and columns.
Liturgical Ministry
A quarterly pastoral journal now published by the Liturgical Press. The editor states that the publication attempts to awaken pastoral ministers to academic concerns and sensitize academics to pastoral issues. Many issues are thematic with topics including: GIRM, the liturgical calendar, holiness, and saints and relics. A good resource for all engaged in pastoral ministry.
Liturgy - Liturgical Conference
A quarterly publication of the Liturgical Conference, an interdenominational group headquartered in Washington, D.C. Articles are focused on practical matters of liturgy and worship with many issues centered on the liturgical season.
Liturgy - Cistercians of the Strict Observance
Published very irregularly, this publication from Our Lady of Gethsemani Abbey is the work of a single monk, Father Chrysogonus Waddell. A scholarly journal focused primarily on monastic liturgy and related historical topics often publishes writings of Thomas Merton.
Ministry & Liturgy
Formerly entitled, Modern Liturgy, this glossy, illustrated publication appears 11 times per year and is directed towards all who are engaged in pastoral ministry. Includes practical articles on music, art, environment, and individual rites.
National Bulletin on Liturgy - Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops
Quarterly publication of the National Liturgy Office of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. Articles are written for all engaged and involved in liturgical planning: priests, deacons, religious, musicians, teachers, liturgy committee members, and readers. Its goal is to provide sound theological information and pastoral insight on liturgical questions, issues and practices. Publication has ceased.

Notitiae
Official publication of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. Contains texts of papal pronouncements and decrees, interpretations of liturgical law and information on current issues in worship and liturgy. Most documents and articles are published in Latin or Italian and on occasion are published in English, French and German.
Pastoral Music
Bimonthly publication of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. Focus is on serving the life and mission of the Church through fostering the art of musical liturgy in Catholic worshiping communities in the United States.
Questions Liturgiques - Studies in Liturgy
Quarterly journal founded in 1910 and published by the Liturgical Institute at the Catholic University of Louvain. A scholarly journal publishing articles in French and English on all aspects of liturgy from the early Church and patristic period through the current day.
Rite
A bimonthly publication of LTP and the Archdiocese of Chicago featuring 1 or 2 major articles per issue that are focused on practical aspects of liturgical ministry, music, art, environment or culture. Formerly entitled Liturgy 90.
Sacred Architecture
Founded in 1998 by Duncan Stroik, Professor of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame, this title is the journal of the Institute for Sacred Architecture, a non-profit organization made up of architects, clergy, educators and others interested in the discussion of issues related to contemporary Catholic architecture. The only English language journal of its kind.
Sacred Music
Published by the Church Music Association of America, this is the oldest continuously published music journal in the United States. Formerly entitled Caecilia and Catholic Choirmaster, its aim is to assist church musicians to maintain the highest artistic standards and preserve the treasury of sacred music especially Gregorian chant and encourage composers to write new music for the active participation of the people.
Studia Litiurgica
An international ecumenical review for liturgical research and renewal published by Societas Liturgia. A semi-annual publication devoted to Christian liturgy, history and theology from the patristsic era through the 20th century.
Worship
The foremost Catholic liturgical journal published in the United States. Founded in 1926 at St. John's Abbey, Collegeville Minnesota as Orate Fratres it publishes both scholarly and practical articles on all aspects of liturgy and worship. A basic resource for all liturgical ministers.
